This contemporary geometric masterpiece playfully nods to Clockwork Orange through its title – blending mechanical precision with fluid, oceanic chaos in a burst of joyful abstraction.

Inspired by Wassily Kandinsky, the father of abstract art, the composition swirls with dynamic lines, orbiting moons/orbs, cascading geometric shapes, ladders, cones, circles, and dotted textures. Turquoise waves dominate the upper canvas, evoking textured ocean waves crashing into a cosmic clockwork mechanism below. Multiple moons symbolizing timeliness, – and orbiting forms add a whimsical, multi-dimensional layer creating depth.

Verkið er unnið í desember 2021 undir listrænum innblæstri frá Wassily Kandinsky sem stundum er kallaður faðir abstrakt listarinnar.

Dóttir mín lagði til nafnið eftir að hafa fylgst með sköpunarferlinu. Hún sagðist fá tilfinningu fyrir hafinu og klukku-gangverki. Hún hugsar stundum á ensku og þannig komu orðin til hennar.

Kraftmikil og leikandi framsetning af svífandi tunglum, táknrænum fyrir tímaleysi, ásamt keilum, hringjum og öðrum svífandi formum í vel skipulögðum kaós hafsins. Túrkíslitar öldur eða klakabönd minna á hafið.

Niðurstaðan er upplyftandi sinfónía í formum og litum sem kallar áhorfendur inn í takmarkalaust tjáningarfrelsi og ímyndunarafl listamannsins.
