This contemporary piece creates a sense of mystery amid grounded complexity and tension. The sweeping gray curves – flowing like many moons across a textured, misty background – bring a deep resonance. These lunar arcs symbolize the recurring phases of emotion: the waxing and waning of feelings, the quiet persistence of inner tides over an extended period of time.

In drawing these curves, I evoked the timeless archetype of the feminine Moon goddess, a divine embodiment of intuition, emotional depth, and cyclical renewal. The Moon, as feminine force, mirrors our capacity to feel deeply, to surrender without losing strength, and to trust the transformative power of time. Her energy softens the rigid forms here, allowing vibrant pinks to emerge like moments of breakthrough amid softer and calmer emotional landscape.

Created during a challenging season, Serenity became both process and prayer; – a deliberate leaning into inner peace. The result is a meditative work that invites viewers to connect with their own emotional cycles, finding harmony in the ebb and flow.

Hér er um að ræða friðsæla æðruleysis-stemningu Tunglgyðjunnar sem var með mér í þessu sköpunarferli. Hún er kvenleg, mjúk, fögur og friðsæl. Hún býr yfir innsæi og hefur æðruleysið með sér, en á sama tíma er hún skörp og ákveðin. Í þessu verki fá hinir mjúku tónar að njóta sín í samblandi við skerpu og dýpt með lagskiptri hreyfingu, litum og áferð.

Yfirbragð verksins er sveipað dulúð og dýpt. Mjúkir gráir bogar flæða líkt og mörg tungl yfir áferðarfallegum bakgrunni. Þeir vísa til hringrásar og flæðis tíma og tilfinninga, kyrrlátrar seiglu og æðruleysis.

Æðruleysi er skapað á krefjandi tímabili þegar sótt var í kyrrð, æðruleysi og hugarró.
